Hashun's south is dominated by thick temperate forests to rival even those of Rouen. This rich habitat is surpassed upon Hashun only by Nightfell's rainforests and White Cove's reefs. Many of the animals and plant species found here are unique to the region. The terrain is gentle, broken only by rolling hills and sedate rivers.
The Glade of Light, the historic seat of the Forest Archetypes, is centred around an ancient complex of standing stones. Their builders and original purpose are unknown, though they resemble the stones of Niwan Moor and the Feffefu Isles. Most are fallen, broken, their markings long since eroded, and each one is covered in moss and vines, many of which are luminous species. As one approaches the Glade, the woods grow ever more thick and verdant, and visitors often report a renewed sense of vigour that persists for days after leaving.
The Archetype of the Forests
Nima is the youngest of the Archetypes and still no more than a small cub. She understands who she is and how important her life will be, but for now she is content to spend her days playing and learning about the world around her. Nima is energetic, friendly, and always happy to meet new kiarrs, all of whom she considers her friends. She is closest to the old Air Archetype, Shuruu, who was a good friend to her predecessor and now acts as a grandfatherly figure toward her.
