Moving westwards from Nrassh Peaks, the alpine heights begin their slow descent to the distant plains. Niwan Moor is the name given to the cool, open, mountainous region below the snows. These windswept hills are the gathering place for the Archetypes. Whenever they need to meet for discussions, they will all congregate here. The mountains are considered to be suitable, at least in the short term, for every species of kiarr, meaning that everyone is comfortable, at least in the short term, to speak.
Niwan Moor is littered with standing stones, the landscape's most prominant feature. Most are monoliths, but in places there are circles and more complex designs. They are ancient, worn by time and weather. Some bear what appear to be carved signs, but they have long since eroded into illegibility. Their builders are unknown. No kiarr has laid claim to them, and even the Archetype spirits seem unable to give a clear answer when asked.
