The northern Nrassh Mountains are more gentle in climate than their southern counterparts, but no less a challenge to climbers, creating a formidable barrier that cuts Hashun in two. It is in the middle of this range that the Mountain Archetypes have traditionally made their home. Here, a gentle alpine meadow lies nestled between two great ridges. It has been home to generations of Mountain and Air clans, and the atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and timeless. A short climb upwards lies Nrassh Peak, its slopes and creativenesses forming the Archetype's den.
The Archetype of the Mountains
Joti is an elderly kiarr who has travelled often, seen much, and been responsible for discovering and helping many of the younger Archetypes. Amongst them she is considered a kindly, grandmotherly figure, and is well loved across Hashun. In addition to being an Archetype, Joti has the rare talent of being able to see and talk to spirits. Those that she meets she treats as guests and many are now old friends. She will often mention them in passing as she would a living kiarr, a trait that some find takes time to get used to.
