The different species of kiarrcats are closely related enough that parents from two species can produce cubs. Any combination of parent species is possible (pictured is a Polar/Savannah hybrid), but all halfbreed kiarrcats, without expection, are sterile. This means that quarter breeds etc are not possible.
An individual halfbreed's appearance, strengths, weaknesses, and abilities are dependent on the parent species.
